Let's face it; the demands of living a productive and successful life can be stressful!
Professional and personality obligations and responsibilities can leave us feeling stretched and stressed.
Many people struggle to find workable ways to manage time effectively.
To find harmony requires that we create a fair balance and an inner peace that guides us in navigating the challenges.
Other successful strategies are; learning how to effectively prioritize and delegate and being comfortable with saying no when the demands are too much.
Many of us feel guilty when we perceive that we are letting others down and as a result, we over-commit and under deliver and let ourselves down, creating even more stress and anxiety.
How we start and close out the day will determine how prepared we are to respond to the challenges. Thirty minutes of personal time daily can equip you with the tools needed to take on life's responsibilities.
Start the day with a five-minute devotional to invite the presence of God and acknowledge him as your guide. Follow with two minutes of deep breathing and a minute of meditation to create an awareness of your inner being and generate calm as you start the day. Close the morning with a seven-minutes exercise routine.
Wind down each evening with a similar process but the focus of your evening exercise regimen should be on relaxation; consider breathing exercises, bedtime yoga or sleep-inducing stretches.
